Born in Florida, U.S.A., 1943. Married 1963, two children. Education: B.A. (cum laude) in Fine Arts, Case Western Reserve Univ., Cleveland, OH, 1965; post-graduate work in Ceramics and Art Education at University of Hartford (Hartford, CT, 1976) and also College of William and Mary (Williamsburg, Va. 1981-83). Since 1968, has lived primarily abroad in Asia, Africa, India and the Middle East. Currently living in Spicewood, Texas.
