About the Art

John has been actively creating metal art pieces for the past several years.  His metal works range from life sized motorcycles and cars to whimsical "characters", bugs, lizards and birds.  Tubular garden gongs, made from discarded compressed gas cylinders are among his favorites. John is especially fond of using post-consumer, discarded and “under-appreciated" metal as his main material. Inquisitive people are often surprised by the variety of previous uses of the metals in any one piece.
