KIRCHMAN GALLERY specializes in contemporary fine art including photography, painting, drawing and sculpture.

Located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, across from the historic County Courthouse in Johnson City, the gallery is a perfect venue for contemporary fine art. Besides the large main gallery a lush sculpture garden, complete with a creek and graceful old pecan and oak trees, showcases outdoor sculpture. Exhibitions completely change every six or eight weeks so viewers will always see something different when they visit. Susan Kirchman, gallery director, established a career of more than 25 years as an exhibiting artist and a professor of fine-art.  She was the director of Langford Gallery at Texas A&M University and has curated national and international exhibitions.  She was born and raised in California and has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe, Mexico, Canada, Australia and the Caribbean. She has taught fine arts in California, Wisconsin, Iowa, Texas, Italy, Greece, Turkey and Germany.

The curatorial committee is soliciting proposals for exhibitions by artists whose approach to their medium is uniquely creative as well as technically superb. For exhibition consideration submit 20 images and an artist’s statement on CD or DVD to the gallery.
